Comes from a pedigree of winners with Affirmed as her grandparent (who was the 11th winner of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbreds) and great grandparent Bayakoa (bred in Argentina (Spanish runs in this family too) and won 13 Grade 1 Stakes. She was the American Champion Older Female Horse of both 1989 and 1990 and was subsequently inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Famer.
